Spyder Pilot
By: Ryan Enlow

I have been into the game for a few years and I love the game, and I’m gonna tell you about the Spyder Pilot. I have had this gun for over a year now and I love it so im going to give you warnings and facts about it so nothing bad will happen. Cause I got this gun for christmas and paintball has been greater since then and a few things have happened and this gun is still shooting its built tough but it is NOT waterproof.

THE BASICS: This gun is built for a light rifleman but a fast one, this is a decent gun for all around players. You can hold the enemy at bay with its rapid fire while your teammates can flank them. Even while defending the base or whatever you come up with this gun has a half decent range to keep them at bay unless they are really brave, though this guns main weakness is the barrel. You should get a better one and it’s the perfect paintball gun with no weakness.

TIPS: When I got mine there was a little leak on it were the tank drop is beneath the handle so I took it off and used Teflon tape (the white tape that’s not sticky) and I tightened it up and it was good to go. Replacing batteries if you take out the re-chargeable battery cause its getting wore out like I did and put in a different battery the gun WILL say its going dead but its not, the battery will last you +5000 shots so don’t be afraid of it. For you tournament guys there is a RED square micro chip that comes out of the handle so you cant switch between firing modes so its all semi-auto but no matter its faster than full auto or well it can be but don’t worry its snug on the prongs so don’t worry about it falling off.

Also when cleaning or replacing the bolt to get the pen out you need a flat head screw driver to pry it out and you WILL need to pry hard cause its in there good, mine broke a while back and I didn’t notice till I ran out of CO2 and tried to re-cock it and I wasn’t too happy but don’t worry I would get a new bolt after 7 months of use on this gun.

CLEANING: Don’t get hasty reading here. Take the back guard off by taking the pin out but be careful the spring shoots out sometimes. Then if your wanting to clean the bolt area pry the cocking pin out now if you brake it no biggy just carry a Allen wrench with you, a medium size one that fits the hole will work. After everything is out you shouldn’t have a hard time cleaning the parts. Check the o-rings everywhere on the bolt on the striker. Ok after your confident enough to put it back together do so and put CO2 or air in the gun whatever you use I prefer CO2. If the gun leaks find out were the take the tank off and tighten up the problem or seal it with Teflon tape or something and your good to go.

RANKING SYSTEM 1-10.

GUN BODY gets a 7 out of 10 it’s a light body and its really light in my hands. (:
STOCK BARREL it gets a 4 out of 10 its not a great barrel cause the balls scatter but it just looks cool.
AIR SYSTEM gets a 5 out of 10 cause it gets a decent amount of shots It should from a 20oz CO2 tank.
THE ACS BOLT it gets a 9 out of 10 its not the best as it does not get enough range on it but it RARELY chops a ball and frankly I think the bolt is perfect but it still could be better.
TRIGGER gets a 8 out of 10 because its very fast I mean the fastest gun in the world gets 31 balls per sec and this one can hit 21/ I have done it. I think its worth it, but the tightening screws loosen over time.
OVERALL the gun all together gets a 7 out of 10 so it’s a great gun but there are better.
